GAO signs a new 5 year contract
(September 16, 2011) We are proud to announce that we have extended our contract with the Golf Association of Ontario. The extension ensures that Golfnet will provide golf handicap services to the GAO for the next five years.
The GAO currently has over 420 member clubs and over 115,000 members, making it one of the largest Amateur Golf Associations in the world. In 2003, the GAO contracted with StarPlan for handicap services. StarPlan was later sold to Golf Intelligence, which then merged into GolfNet.
On Monday , Golfnet CEO, Jim Stracka, met with GAO Executive Director, Dave Mills to work out the details of the new contract.

CGA and SCGA sign 5 year contract extension
(November 11, 2011) We are pleased to announce the extension of our contract with the Carolinas Golf Association and the South Carolina Golf Association.
“We have had an excellent relationship with the GolfNet group for over 20 years,” says Happ Lathrop, Executive Director, SCGA. “As we advance into a new era of technology, we are proud to have GolfNet as our teammate.”
With the backdrop of the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA) Annual Conference, Lathrop and CGA Executive Director, Jack Nance, met with our team to sign a 5 year extension to use GolfNet as their sole golf handicap service and technology provider.
“We started this relationship in 1990 and we’re excited to add another 5 years,” says Nance. “We have similar goals and visions which is important in our quest to keep up with technology.”
