Golfnet has a twenty-five year history of providing handicap computation and tournament management software to golf associations and golf clubs and is the second largest golf handicap system provider in North America.
Golfnet’s client base includes eight golf associations in contiguous states along the eastern seaboard including the pivotal states of Florida, North and South Carolina. Golfnet’s long standing client relationships can be attributed to superior software features and, more importantly, to an outstanding customer service model that puts the needs of the golf club at the top of the list.
In September of 2007, GolfNet merged with Golf Intelligence, a seven-year-old organization that provided expanded services through a web-based model to clients including the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) as well as to a number of non-traditional golf clubs including the Executive Women’s Golf Association, PGA Tour Partners Club and Golf Galaxy. Golf Intelligence acquired StarPlan in 2006, further expanding the distribution of their products and services to Wisconsin State Golf Association and the Golf Association of Ontario.
In 2008, the combination of these long standing businesses makes the new GolfNet the second largest provider of Golf Handicap and Tournament software in North America and a great choice for golf associations and their clubs nationwide.
